Summary
The BSc (Honours) in Professional Policing Practice provides you with an employer-sponsored Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) designed to meet the College of Policing’s Policing Education Qualification Framework (PEQF) and specifically the National Policing Curriculum. Each module you study is fully mapped to their learning outcomes and the Apprenticeship Standard for police constables. Your role within the police will be one of student officer, where you will be exposed to police duties and be supported by a Tutor Constable to help you gather evidence to support your learning.
You will gain a thorough understanding of the theory and knowledge relevant to be a police constable in the twenty-first century which you will apply to your workplace practice.
The qualification is designed to be completed within a three‐year period and meets the standards for the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship.

- Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship, awarded by the Institute of Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE)
- English and maths functional skills qualifications at Level 2, if not previously achieved
